the services if you need assistance.
All students will have color-coded name tags as follows:
BRES-green LES-blue MES-black
SCES-red
Alternative-brown
Elementary and Middle School Chaperones will have
about 20 students each. The High School Chaperones will have about 30
students each.
Announce to your students before you get to the
park what is expected of them. This is a church service and they should act
according.
Remind your group to come to the night service with their parents if possible.
No backpacks allowed at the Crusade. Tell the
students to leave them at school.
Chaperones should stay with their group at all
times. If for some reason you must leave your group, ask another Chaperone
to watch your group until you get back.
Restrooms: There will be porta-potties at the park. If your students ask to use the restroom, let them go one at a time. Ushers will monitor the restroom area.
CHAPERONES, PLEASE REMEMBER do not
get your group up, to board the buses to leave until you are called
from the pulpit. No one will load until they are called from the
stage to board the buses. The schools will be called to the buses over the
microphone, only. This causes confusion and ends the service before time,
when they are loaded independently.
Chaperones, if any of the students have changed
their mind and don’t want to attend the Crusade (even
though they have a permission slip saying they can go)
please send these students back to their room. They are allowed to stay at
school.
Please make sure each chaperone that is a UCBOE employee has a badge that states he/she is on leave from UCBOE!
(These will be provided)
Please do not question the students about their
religion or church affiliation.
The Area Wide crusade is not a
school-sponsored event.
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND LOVE FOR THE
CHILDREN AND THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST. MAY GOD BLESS YOU WITH HIS ABUNDANT
RICHES.

Dear Chaperone and Coordinator,
I just wanted to thank you for all your help in the Crusade. Many of you have helped us with the crusade since it began. For some, this is your first year, hopefully
with many more to come. Thank You So Much for your love of the Lord, I know that
is why many of you, as am I, are helping with the crusade, as well as your love for the
children. I hope you know how much you are appreciated!
Please allow me this opportunity to say thank you for volunteering to help in this years Crusade. Without Your assistance, we would not be able to provide our students with this privilege to hear the gospel. I want to extend a personal thanks to each individual who is giving sacrificially of their time and effort to Chaperone in our Area Wide Crusade.
May God Bless You Abundantly!
Coordinators,
Please feel free to change your individual school
Instructions as you discuss them
with the principal and chaperones. You may find an easier and quicker way to
get your groups together each morning. Please give a copy of your changes to
me when you return the permission slips.
